Treasury Expert

The Treasury & Corporate Reporting Chapter is responsible for both maintaining liquidity through regular cash management, forecasting and reporting and for managing shareholder/stakeholder relationships, analysing and communicating business performance both internally and externally. Tesco Mobile adopts and is continuing to evolve Agile ways of working, adapting processes and outputs to support transformation, operations, ensuring that day to day liquidity cash and reporting requirements are managed efficiently across a range of complex structured arrangements and over both short term and long-term horizons.

This is a role that has a high level of responsibility around cash processes and management so operating with diligence within a rigorous control environment is critically important to the effective operation and protection of the business.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:

1. Qualified accountant with demonstrable PQE in a financial control environment.
2. Fluent use of Excel and systems to aid proficient modelling.
3. Established grasp of Accounting treatment and processes.
4. Ability to move quickly between maintaining accuracy in the detail and providing an impactful high-level overview.
5. Demonstrated history of effectively completing processes and controls while actively pursuing improvements and efficiencies. A continuous improvement approach supported by proven expertise in automation.

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring:

1. Solid understanding of working capital liquidity arrangements and drivers.
2. Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships across Finance and with external partners.
3. Solid understanding of the mobile telecommunications industry.
4. Embrace an Agile approach and culture to contribute to the growth in agile maturity of our business.
