Job description

About The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Cash Processor to join our fast-paced treasury team. The successful candidate will contribute to the company's financial performance through the timely processing of branch banking, payments, and account reconciliations.

Main duties include:

  1. Reconcile daily branch banking to till control reports for multiple branches across the Group using Aurum (bank reconciliation software) and standard Excel reports.
  2. Identify and resolve banking discrepancies promptly, working with branch management.
  3. Support monitoring of the Cash Posting Log, post nominal ledger transactions, and liaise with Sales & Purchase Ledger colleagues to ensure daily transaction posting to the accounting system (MAM).
  4. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple company bank accounts and support the Group Bank Reconciliation process as needed.
  5. Work with and support branch colleagues to ensure compliance with treasury procedures and policies.
  6. Assist in maintaining branch PDQ machines.
  7. Raise adhoc payments using AccessPay / Barclay iPortal.
  8. Perform other duties as required by the line manager, consistent with the role.

Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience in finance administration, particularly with MS Excel.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner.
  • Experience with MAM, SAGE, SAP, SUN.
  • Ideally, experience in till management and banking processes.
