We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for financial operations. The Treasury Assistant will support daily treasury activities, ensure efficient cash management, and maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review payment requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  2. Verify supporting documentation (invoices, purchase orders, contracts) before approval.
  3. Authorize payments within delegated approval limits and escalate exceptions as needed.
  4. Monitor and manage daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts.
  5. Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports.
  6. Support mobilization and demobilization of sites from banking and payments perspectives.
  7. Identify and investigate discrepancies, unusual transactions, or potential fraud risks.
  8. Collaborate with accounts payable, procurement, and treasury teams to resolve issues.
  9. Contribute to improving payment workflows and approval processes.
  10. Communicate with banks and internal departments regarding payment status and queries.

  • Knowledge of Spanish, Italian, or German languages is a plus.
