Job description

A leading global organisation seeks a Treasury Analyst to support bank guarantees, cashflow, credit, FX, and commodity risk management. Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, the role provides Treasury guidance across regional operations and Group functions and plays a key part in tenders and hedging strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Trade Finance
  • Reviewing potential bank guarantee text (performance, bid bonds, advanced payment bonds) at the tender stage.
  • Providing advice on appropriate bank guarantee wording to tender teams and clients.
  • Identifying and liaising with suitable banks and sureties, reviewing guarantees, providing feedback, and monitoring pricing.
  • Advising on contracts relating to bank guarantees, including cost inclusion for new project tenders.
  • Arranging timely issuance of new bank guarantees.
  • Maintaining the global guarantee register and manage amendments, extensions, or cancellations.
  • Managing the bank guarantee fee payment process.
  • Contributing to process improvements, including automation of guarantee processes and trade finance systems.
Business Partnering
  • Providing Treasury advice to the business, including:
    • Analysing project cashflows.
    • Validating pre/post cash flow and currency exposures, including hedging and internal financing charges.
    • Assessing commodity requirements and exposures.
    • Analysing client viability.
    • Supporting banking needs, including account openings and liaising with local and existing banks.
  • Performing client and supplier credit assessments, maintaining internal credit risk registers.
  • Align regional processes with Group Treasury Guidelines to ensure best practice.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree qualified with a relevant background.
  • Experience in Treasury operations, ideally within Group Treasury, with a willingness to develop further.
  • Some experience with bank guarantees is desirable but full training will be provided.
  • Basic understanding of contract review and negotiation is advantageous.
