Role Summary

As a Treasury Analyst, you will assist in managing daily treasury operations, ensuring effective cash flow management, monitoring safeguarding accounts, and supporting financial risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cash & Liquidity Management

• Assist with daily cash positioning, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Support the preparation of short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate tracking of fund movements.
• Monitor and manage currency exposures and foreign exchange transactions.

1. Safeguarding & Regulatory Compliance

• Assist in monitoring safeguarding accounts to ensure compliance with FCA requirements.
• Support internal audits and regulatory reporting related to safeguarding of customer funds.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations and treasury best practices.

1. Banking & Payment Operations

• Support bank account management, including opening, closing, and maintaining banking relationships.
• Assist in processing payments, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve any treasury-related discrepancies in a timely manner.

1. Financial Risk Management & Reporting

• Assist in monitoring counterparty and operational risks related to treasury activities.
• Prepare and analyse treasury reports, including cash flow analysis and funding reports.

Work closely with internal teams such as Finance, Risk, and Operations to ensure smooth treasury operations.
