Treasury Analyst
Location: Stone, Staffordshire Hybrid working, 2 days a week in our Stone Office)
Status: Permanent, Full Time

Why are we hiring a Treasury Analyst This role is a brand new role! The role reports to our group VP of Finance and works closely with the financial operations team. The position focuses on cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity and efficient use of funds across all Instem companies, monitors daily cash balances and weekly cash reporting, manages bank accounts including cash investment accounts, administrates disbursements including FX transactions, provides cash flow forecasting, and ensures compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and debt management requirements.

What to expect?
• Managing and monitoring daily cash management transactions, cash positioning and cash forecasting for all Instem companies
• Tracking cash collections and daily cash balances, executing intercompany transfers timely and accurately to ensure bank accounts are sufficiently funded for upcoming disbursements, and providing weekly cash reports
• Administering disbursements including FX transactions while minimizing bank fees
• Managing ACH debit blocks and reverse positive pay across all relevant bank accounts
• Preserving cash in collaboration with other members of the Finance team
• Optimizing cash investment returns
• Resolving banking or cash-related issues (such as bounced payment, need to trace a payment or other) in a timely manner
• Providing cash flow forecasts in collaboration with other members of the Finance team
• Managing the treasury compliance calendar to ensure that treasury deadlines are met at all times, including, but not limited to, the various deliverables and payments due under the company's credit agreements, derivative agreements, or other types of agreements.
• Calculating or providing necessary input into the calculation of debt covenants as required, including debt covenant forecasting or scenario analysis
• Analysing cash movements versus forecast, proactively validating expected cash or cash projection variances
• Participating in bank relationship tasks (including responding to KYC or other questionnaires from banking partners)
• Assists in improving cash management processes and controls
• Adhering to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently

Skills you'll need:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting, coupled with experience in cash accounting in global, fast-paced environment
• Specialised knowledge of global cash positioning, liquidity management, banking and payment systems, and compliance management
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Effective organisation skills
• Knowledge of Company office procedures
• Knowledge of our Quality Management System and its application to tasks associated with this role
• Experienced and confident using ERP systems (preferable NetSuite) and online banking systems
• Experience with International, multi currency organisations is essential
