Treasury Analyst

Manchester City Centre, Hybrid working

We are recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join our team based at our Manchester shared service centre (PBS). Premier Foods is the UK's largest food manufacturer, home to household favourites like Mr Kipling, Ambrosia, and Oxo. As a Treasury Analyst, you will join a committed team that prides itself on delivering high standards to our customers and consumers.

Requirements:

• Must have treasury system management experience.

You will initially be responsible for ensuring that the company accounts and banking processes are maintained and funds are correctly allocated daily. As part of the Group's Treasury Roadmap, we have implemented a Treasury system and begun automating cash allocation, with responsibilities evolving accordingly.

The Role

• Download bank statements, upload to SAP, and perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze and investigate queries, liaising with the business to resolve them promptly.
• Work effectively with high volumes and tight deadlines.
• Assist in setting up and reviewing procedures for automating systems and processes.
• Monitor bank accounts and improve cash flow forecasting accuracy.
• Manage administration related to FX transactions.
• Support management in achieving key objectives, continuous improvement, upskilling, and fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.
• Process all cash management deals through the TMS (IT2) for approval.

Essential Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of treasury experience.
• Good knowledge of Treasury Management Systems.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Interest in studying for a treasury qualification.
• Experience in Cash Management.
