Job description

Treasury Analyst

Manchester (Hybrid working)

Role Purpose

As our next Treasury Analyst, you'll be working as part of the Treasury team based at our Manchester office. Your role is to ensure that the company accounts and banking processes are maintained, and that funds are correctly allocated on a day-to-day basis. Your remit includes overseeing activities such as bank statement downloads, uploads to SAP, and daily bank reconciliations.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Performing daily bank statement downloads, uploads to SAP, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Completing month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
  3. Processing bank payments and credit card transactions.
  4. Analyzing and investigating queries, liaising with the business to resolve issues promptly.
  5. Communicating professionally and effectively with internal and external customers to build strong relationships.
  6. Working efficiently with high volumes and tight deadlines to meet business needs.
  7. Assisting in setting up and reviewing procedures for system and process automation.
  8. Monitoring bank accounts and enhancing cash flow forecasting accuracy.
  9. Managing FX transaction administration.
  10. Supporting management in achieving key objectives, continuous improvement, upskilling, and fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.
  11. Preparing daily cash management transactions and related documentation for review and approval.
  12. Processing all cash management deals through the TMS (IT2) system.
  13. Handling daily money market and FX deals.
  14. Keeping static data on treasury systems up to date.
What we need from you:

Essential:

  • Experience with major online banking platforms (preferably Citi Direct).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge of Cash Management.
  • Interest in studying for a treasury qualification.
  • 2 to 5 years of treasury experience.
  • Good understanding of Treasury Management Systems (preferably IT2).

Desirable:

  • Experience with 360T / FX All or other dealing platforms.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg / Reuters market data.
