Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic Treasury team in the fast-paced banking, foreign exchange and payment services industry.This is a critical role in managing the group's financial assets, optimising cash flow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate is a dynamic problem-solver, consistently innovative in their approach, and committed to continuously striving for excellence in all aspects of their work.This position requires a strong understanding of treasury activities, financial markets and risk management.
Responsibilities:
Daily cash management
  • Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure operational liquidity and efficient utilisation of funds
  • Arrange funding across the Moneycorp group and own specific entity cash management as required
  • Monitor and execute Treasury FX trades as part of daily cash management process and in support of group FX hedging strategies
  • Invest surplus funds in eligible securities to generate interest income
Interest optimisation
  • Monitor interest rates earned in each account, optimise money market fund investments, bank balances and interest rates
  • Propose solutions to maximise interest income by using swaps or moving funds between banks/entities
Forecasting/Reporting
  • Produce daily forecasts of group/individual entity cash balances and borrowing requirements
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc reporting for senior management, providing information on cash, debt and FX trading
  • Maintain updated Treasury Operations Manual, workflows and delegated authorities to ensure all Operational processes are documented and relevant
Bank management/ mandates
  • Assist the Treasurer in maintenance of all bank accounts across the group
  • Open/close accounts with the banks as and when required
  • Ensure that all mandates align with company policies and banking regulations
  • Coordinate updates when there are changes in signatories or account requirements
Other monthly tasks
  • Initiate/monitor profit sweeps and transfer pricing processes
  • Initiate actions to bring liquidity into certain entities when required
Process enhancement/projects
  • Assist the Treasurer in successful implementation of key Treasury systems
  • Be proficient in data and systems, and take a lead within the team for optimal utilisation of the systems and automation opportunities
  • Take the lead in process improvements/efficiencies
  • Involvement in ad hoc business/department projects
Stakeholder management
  • Liaise with banking relationships at an operational level and resolve queries and other requests
  • Coordinate Treasury activities across wider Finance function, Payment Operations, Customer Service, FIG and group entities
People management
  • The role has no direct report, however, is expected to train junior members of the team as and when required
What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role
Knowledge and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working within a bank, financial institution or corporate treasury environment. Knowledge of foreign exchange and payment services would be an advantage.
Skills:
Advanced Excel.Knowledge of SQL/VBA/Python an advantage.Excellent in analytical and problem-solving skills.Have ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Professional qualification would be an advantage.

This position is full-time, permanent. The role is expected to be office-based in London as part of the Treasury team. However, we have an agile flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home if desired.
