Job summary

EDF Trading Limited in London is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support daily liquidity management and funding at trading and corporate levels. The role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

You will produce daily and monthly liquidity reports, forecast cashflows, and collaborate with FX, cash management and collateral teams. Hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

• ACT / Accounting or equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking daily liquidity reporting to analyse historical liquidity and cashflow trends.
• Analysing and forecasting the impact of price movements on EDFT’s positions and liquidity.
• Liquidity management (long and short term), stress testing and contingency planning.
• Assist with medium term liquidity forecasting, understanding cashflows and tracking forecast vs actuals.
• Produce daily and monthly reporting and analytics for distribution across the business.
• Work with Treasury (Cash management, FX, collateral) to maintain high performance.
• Ensure processes are well documented for seamless handover.
• Assist in ensuring the control framework is scalable to the changing business.

The treasury team is responsible for all aspects of treasury risk management including; liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange, interest rate risk management, collateral management and margining.The treasury department is a team-based environment that values interaction and exchange of ideas and techniques. The flat team structure supports access to all levels of management across the organisation in order to ensure that analysis and judgements are comprehensive and complete. **Position purpose**The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting the daily liquidity management and funding processes at both a trading and corporate level. The role requires a high level of interaction with all parts of the business. **Main responsibilities*** Undertaking daily liquidity reporting to analyse historical liquidity and cashflow trends, including analysing and recording liquidity facility sources and uses.* Analysing and forecasting the impact of price movements on EDFT’s positions and liquidity impact.* Liquidity management (long and short term), stress testing and contingency planning* Assist with medium term liquidity forecasting, understanding the key cashflows within the business and tracking accuracy of forecast vs actuals.* Produce appropriate daily and monthly reporting and analytics for distribution across the business and wider EDF group* Working with the team and provide coverage as required on understanding and analysing monthly financing costs and interest allocations. Providing relevant analysis and commentary* Work closely with other areas of Treasury (Cash management, FX, and collateral management) to ensure continued high performance of the EDFT Treasury Team* Ensuring all processes are well documented to the extent that they can be picked up seamlessly by other team members.* Assist in ensuring the control framework is scalable to match the ever-changing nature of the business. **Experience required*** Strong communication skills.
