Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Treasury Analyst with a focus on commercial performance to support our investment strategy. You will assist with budgeting, stress testing, month-end processes and modelling across Treasury, Finance and Risk.

Based in London with UK-wide flexibility, you’ll collaborate across teams to automate processes, analyze data and provide insights that influence business decisions and balance sheet resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience working at a bank and knowledge of Treasury forecasting
• Highly analytical and forward-thinking approach
• Interest in data analysis and understanding financial impact on the bank
• Ability to articulate technical topics to diverse audiences
• Strong technical skills
• Interest in investment and capital management

Our Treasury team is growing and we’re looking for a Treasury Analyst with a focus on commercial performance to support our investment strategy. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail orientated & collaborative Treasury Analyst to play a key role in supporting Treasury’s budgeting, stress testing, month end, and modelling. You’ll support all core Treasury functions- learning how Monzo manages liquidity, capital, interest rate risk, and the credit portfolio to maintain balance sheet resilience.This is a collaborative role and you will work across the Treasury, Finance and Risk functions.

• Supporting and enhancing our budgeting and forecasting process including stress testing and model development
• Supporting our month end reporting including cost analysis and reporting
• Designing brilliant ways to automate our work and leveraging technology to ensure we scale with the business
• Partnering with teams internally to help them make informed business decisions

We’d love to hear from you if you…

• Have experience working at a bank and knowledge of Treasury forecasting
• Have a highly analytical and forward thinking approach
• Are interested in identifying and using data, performing analysis, and understanding financial impacts on our bank
• Are able to articulate and explain technical topics to diverse audiences
• Have strong technical skills
• Are interested in learning more about the wider Treasury worlds of investment and capital management
