Job summary

Sewell Wallis Ltd is recruiting a Treasury Accountant to join the Group Treasury team in Sheffield. You will own accounting, control and reporting of treasury activities, liaising with Finance, Tax and global teams. The role is focused on accounting while offering exposure to a global treasury function.

You will manage month‑end closes, cash flow forecasting and hedging, with opportunities to influence policy and drive controls in a high‑calibre environment. Hybrid working in the UK is available.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Strong grounding in accounting and financial controls; understanding treasury transactions.
• Experience in a large multinational environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close for treasury entities and activities, including FX, interest and intercompany journals.
• Lead budgeting, reforecasting and cash flow forecasting; build forecasting practice across the group.
• Monitor FX exposures, analyse hedging requirements and execute FX hedging deals per Treasury Policy.
• Administer intercompany loans, interest calculations and settlements across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
• Produce clear, impactful treasury reporting for senior and executive management.
• Lead banking covenant monitoring and reporting; support external audit and controls.
