The role
Join The London Clinic as a key player in our Finance team, where you'll take the lead on ensuring strong cash management, accurate treasury reporting, and effective liquidity control. In this vital role, you'll manage daily cash positions, forecast future cash flows, and oversee banking and investment activities, all while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Your work will directly support the financial stability of one of the UK's most respected independent hospitals.

Key Duties
- Support the preparation of accurate short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasts, identifying funding requirements or surpluses.
- Monitor daily cash balances and manage cash positioning across all bank accounts.
- Manage intercompany transfers and ensure appropriate funding across departments or units.
- Liaise with banks on transactions, queries, and to ensure smooth operations of banking facilities.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and investigate variances promptly.
- Reconcile Credit card purchases.
- Reconcile Income to bank statement including cash books.
- Reconcile unallocated cash.
- Manage several balance sheets in line with the role.
- Manage investment funds accounts ensuring we achieve maximum income.
- Manage interest costs and income.
- Support the development of treasury policies, controls, and procedures in line with best practices.
- Assist in managing relationships with financial institutions and ensure favourable terms and service levels.
- Maintain accurate records of all treasury transactions and ensure they are in compliance with internal controls.
- Process one off payments and refunds as required.
- Process GL transactions through finance software.
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
- Produce treasury reports for senior management and participate in monthly financial close.
- Support the management of CapEx purchases, tracking and depreciation, ensuring they are recognised correctly in the finance software.
Skills And Experience
- Good level of Treasury or Financial Operations experience
- Excel to advanced level
- Strong understanding of Cash Flows
- Studying towards CIMA, ACCT, ACA (desirable)
- Experience liaising with banks and managing bank accounts
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
