Job summary

Pinsent Masons LLP is seeking a Treasurer to support the full range of Treasury operations across our international business. The role involves cashflow management, banking administration, funding and audit activities within a global law firm environment.

You will work with the Treasury Manager on key projects, across jurisdictions, with exposure to client-money processes and cross-team collaboration. The role suits a treasury professional with at least three years of experience and a meticulous

Qualifications

• At least three years’ treasury experience, with good practical knowledge of banking operations.
• Experience working in a law firm or another professional services organisation.
• A thorough approach to financial processes, controls and authorisations, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to organise a busy workload, use your initiative and meet frequent deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and levels.
• Good IT literacy; knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Aderant would be beneficial, as would an understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

Responsibilities

• Bring your treasury expertise to support cashflow, banking administration and funding.
• Manage billing and client-money related controls and audit requirements.
• Coordinate sanctions, AML, tax reporting and audit requirements.
• Support payment activity, including international payroll, and vendor payments.
• Review budgets, reconciliations and control accounts for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain relationships with global banking partners and finance colleagues.
