What you’ll do

As we expand our fleet of wind turbines in the UK, we’re looking for (Travelling) Wind Turbine Technicians to take the technical lead on onboarding newly acquired turbines while also helping to elevate our expertise on GE and Senvion platforms. This role is perfect for someone who loves travelling across the UK and is skilled in turbine maintenance and troubleshooting, eager to share knowledge, resolve issues, and support the team in maintaining high operational standards.

Opportunities include becoming a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules, undertaking major component replacements (gearbox, generator, transformer, etc.), and performing complex fault finding and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and converter systems both remotely and on-site.

You will complete scheduled maintenance to high standards, participate in internal & external technical and safety training, and typically work in a two-person team within a supportive environment.

Who are you?

Physically fit, safety-focused, hands-on worker, capable of working at heights and in remote locations. Enthusiastic about green energy, with GE and/or Senvion experience.

What skills do you need?

Skilled electrical and/or mechanical maintenance engineer. Multi-skilling training available.

Location

Based in Goole, East Yorkshire at our Goole Service Centre, generally within a 1-hour drive. As a travel technician, you will travel across UK EDF assets to support planned maintenance in various locations.
