Reward

£34k - £50k (We have a graded reward package to suit new entrants to the renewables industry through to the most experienced Wind Turbine Technicians).

Working hours - 40 hours per week

What You'll Do

As we expand our fleet of wind turbines in the UK, we're looking for (Travelling) Wind Turbine Technicians to take the technical lead on onboarding newly acquired turbines while also helping to elevate our expertise on GE and Senvion platforms. This role is perfect for someone who's loves travelling across UK and is skilled in turbine maintenance and troubleshooting and is eager to share knowledge, resolve issues, and support the team in getting these turbines up to our high operational standards.

  • Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.
  • Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements.
  • Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.
  • Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride of the assets that you maintain.
  • Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.
  • Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment.

Who are you?

  • Physically fit, safety-focused, and love hands-on work.
  • Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations.
  • Enthusiastic about green energy.
  • GE and/or Senvion experience.

What skills do you need?

You'll be a skilled engineer with great Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance experience. We can train you to multi-skill.

Location

You will be based in Goole, East Yorkshire at our, Goole Service Centre - For this role, you will generally be located within a 1-hour drive.

As a travel Technician you will travel across our UK EDF assets, Helping the other local regions carry out planned maintenance.
