Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Technical Training Instructor for the Ashchurch area near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. The role involves delivering diverse training—classroom, workshop, on-the-job and digital—to build a skilled, safe workforce while supporting onboarding and ongoing development.

You will maintain records, operate LMS, and use training data to drive improvements across operations, safety, and quality. Regular UK travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical or vocational training.
• Experience supporting workforce development and capability improvement.
• Ability to engage and influence learners from a range of technical backgrounds.
• Experience assessing competence and providing coaching or mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Delivering classroom, workshop, on-the-job and digital training programmes.
• Supporting employee onboarding and skills development activities.
• Conducting competence assessments and providing coaching to individuals and teams.
• Maintaining training records, learning management systems and competency frameworks.
• Using training data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
