Job summary

First Base Employment is seeking a Trainer / Instructor / Assessor to deliver classroom and practical training across multiple industry sectors. The role requires travel throughout the UK and occasional overseas assignments, with a full-time schedule Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:45.

You will train and assess candidates to recognised standards, maintain documentation, and work closely with customers to meet training requirements. A valid driving licence and DBS clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience.
• Teaching / Instructor / Train the Trainer qualification required.
• Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) required.
• General Health & Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent) required.
• Relevant operator and/or instructor licences required.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• DBS check clearance required.
• Valid Passport (where required).

Stonehouse, Gloucestershire (UK-wide travel and occasional international travel required)

Hours

Full-time

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:45

45-minute lunch break

Flexibility required due to travel and occasional overnight stays (up to one week)

Salary

£28,000 – £40,000

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience.
• Teaching, Instructor or Train the Trainer qualification.
• Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification.

• Relevant operator and/or instructor licences.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Valid Passport (where required).
• Able to pass a DBS check and obtain security clearances.
