Job Description

ISI is seeking talented Pipe Welders for the Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical Industries

The Pipe Welder is responsible for traveling to customer sites to install sanitary piping and tube systems, mainly for the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries. This position requires someone with extensive sanitary process piping experience. A successful candidate must have the ability to travel for extended periods, work weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Applicants should reside in the York/Harrisburg/Allentown/Lancaster area and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of extensive experience with Pipe Welding
• Ability to repair, maintain, and install sanitary piping and tubing systems for the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries
• Experience fabricating tanks, structural supports, and welding high-pressure lines and vessels
• Capability to perform installations or replacements of piping systems and related equipment
• Rigging experience is a plus
• Own your hand tools (the tools of the trade)
• Pass a 6g weld test
• Current valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Willingness to travel for extended periods, work weekends, and overtime as needed

Success Criteria & Measurement

• Complete work timely as per the directives of the Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager
• Accurately complete projects, paperwork, and timesheets, submitting them as required
• Safely operate all equipment, including welding guns, tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.
• Communicate effectively with the Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager, customers, and team members via verbal, text, or email
• Work independently and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Maintain professional conduct at all times, especially at customer sites
