Job summary

Thistle Seafoods Ltd. seeks an Internal Auditor to conduct audits across both Boddam and Uddingston sites, ensuring compliance with customer, BRC and third-party standards. The role involves travel between sites, maintaining audit matrices, and closing out non-conformances with cross-functional teams.

Key duties include reporting KPIs, keeping audit proformas up to date, and promoting CSR and brand integrity through cross-team engagement. Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00 with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with HACCP-based food safety and quality systems.
• Knowledge of TACCP and VACCP concepts and controls.
• Exposure to internal auditing in food manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across two sites to ensure customer, BRC and third-party standards compliance.
• Maintain audit proformas and frequencies; close out non-conformances with cross-functional teams.
• Track and report internal audit KPIs; support CSR and brand integrity initiatives.
• Travel between Boddam and Uddingston sites to perform audits as required.
