Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Internal Food Hygiene Auditor to support onboard catering operations across multiple locations in the UK. You will conduct risk-based audits, ensure compliance with food safety legislation, and review KPIs while driving continuous improvement and a strong food safety culture across the network.

The role requires a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and HACCP Level 3, with the ability to work independently across geographically dispersed sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Safety Auditing, Quality Assurance, or Compliance roles (essential).
• Level 3 Food Safety Qualification (or equivalent).
• HACCP Certification (minimum Level 3).
• Strong auditing background with a proven ability to assess compliance and identify improvements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently across a geographically dispersed network.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based food safety and hygiene audits across multiple sites.
• Provide assurance that operations comply with UK Food Legislation, industry standards, contractual requirements, and best practice.
• Review site performance against food safety and hygiene KPIs.
• Identify risks, non-conformances, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assess and review operational processes to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
• Support supplier and site oversight activities.
• Produce audit reports and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Work with site teams to drive food safety culture and operational excellence.
• Support regulatory compliance, customer safety, and brand protection across the network.
