Job summary

Halmer Recruit is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Gardener for an immediate two-week temporary assignment in Wimbledon and surrounding areas. You will drive the company van, collect the Assistant Gardener from Raynes Park each morning, and tend approximately three high-end private gardens daily with professional client interaction.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years in garden maintenance, are comfortable using mowing and trimming tools, and hold a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' garden maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous experience working within private residential gardens.
• Confident using mowers, hedge cutters, blowers and general gardening equipment.
• Full clean UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general garden maintenance across high-end private residences.
• Hedge cutting and trimming.
• Lawn mowing and edging.
• Use blowers and other garden maintenance equipment.
• Weeding, tidying and general garden presentation.
• Drive the company van between properties.
• Collect the Assistant Gardener from Raynes Park each morning.
• Work effectively alongside the Assistant Gardener throughout the day.
• Complete approximately three gardens per day depending on schedule.
• Communicate professionally with clients when required.
• Operate equipment safely and follow appropriate Health & Safety procedures.
