Traveling Construction Superintendent (Based in Maryland)

Job Description

J & J 2000, Inc. is looking to hire a Traveling Construction Superintendent based out of our Westminster, Maryland Office. This position will be expected to travel up to 90% of the time. Travel is Nationwide.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.
• Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs.
• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
• Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.
• Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly.
• Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
• Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
• Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
• Assist with division 09 as required to complete projects.

Job Requirements:

• Clean background check required.
• Able to pass Urinalysis (entry and random).
• Valid Driver License.
• Legal to work in the USA.
• 5+ years of Construction Superintendent Experience (Airport experience is a plus).
• Computer, iPad, iPhone Experience.
• Procore Experience.
• OSHA 30.
• Army CQM Certification is a plus.
