Overview:

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit (4HH). This position is a temporary traveler role, offering $70 per hour. It is a full-time night shift position.

Department Overview:
  • This unit provides high-acuity cardiac care for pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients, including bypass surgery, valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac procedures.
  • Dedicated to high-quality care, patient outcomes, safety, and teamwork.
  • Nurses handle 4 patients based on acuity level.
Qualifications:
  • Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in Nursing required.
  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications required.
Experience:

Minimum of 2 years recent acute care hospital RN experience.
