Job Title – Travel Training Systems Consultant

Department/Sector – Business Travel

Job Location – West London

Salary – £30k – £35k

This top travel independent urgently seeks an experienced training specialist to join their busy team. You will be responsible for planning, organising and leading a wide range of training activities. These include the delivery of on-site, office based and remote training sessions as well as consultancies to a broad range of clients UK and Worldwide, as well as the production of documentation and tutorials.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for and conducting classroom and consultative style software user training for the range of products which incorporate travel agency/tour operator front, mid and back office management systems
  • Preparing for, conducting and producing training materials for internal courses
  • Identifying training needs through analysis and regular consultation with the manager
  • Assisting with testing new software releases and all back up and online queries
  • Assisting with software demonstrations at trade shows

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

  • Thorough understanding of how travel agencies operate from both a front office and back office perspective
  • Strong Windows and PC skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working successfully under minimal supervision
  • Able to thrive in a small, fast moving, fluid and demanding organisation
  • Excellent written, verbal and telephone communication skills
  • Fluency in English is essential and proficiency in other languages highly desirable
  • True team player

Training:

  • Technical training will be provided on the company’s software products
