Job Title – Travel Sales Manager – Fluent French

Job Location – London

Salary – £25k

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to motivate and manage the sales team. In the role you need to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all B2B clients, to develop and have total responsibility for all the confirmed travel reservations.

As the Sales Manager you will generate revenue streams by cross selling and upselling from the existing customer base and manage all of the B2B activities for the sales team. You will need to coordinate with other teams to optimise travel marketing designs and materials.

You must have hospitality or travel industry management background and knowledge.

Responsibilities
  1. Reach the targets and goals set for your area
  2. Develop sales strategies and setting targets
  3. Attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions
  4. Travel abroad to meet new clients at least once a month
  5. Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships
  6. Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  7. Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  8. Cold call
  9. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
  10. Research and build relationships with new clients
  11. Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals
  12. Define long-term organizational strategic goals
  13. Negotiate and close business deals
  14. Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  15. Train and supervise trainee for sales
  16. Develop product knowledge by attending training sessions, familiarisation trips and educational activities
Experience Required
  1. Fluency in French & English
  2. B2B sales experience with a proven track record in achieving sales growth
  3. A positive and competitive attitude with the drive and work ethic to meet targets
  4. Work effectively in the field – high sales activity required
  5. Persuasive, firm, well mannered, good negotiator
  6. Ability to identify sales opportunities
