Travel Sales Consultant North Africa and Middle East
Base Salary to £35,000 OTE £50,000
Hybrid - South West London

Our client is an award-winning tour operator with a focus on high-end travel selling bespoke trips to North Africa and the Middle East. They are now seeking to recruit a North Africa and Middle East Travel Sales Consultant to join their team who has extensive sales and product knowledge of Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, and UAE.

You must have excellent bespoke tailor-made travel experience with a vested interest in the region, with the ability to deal with a booking from enquiry through to final documentation. Presentation, communication (verbal and written), attention to detail, sales skills, and destination knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities:
  1. Dealing with client enquiries by phone and email.
  2. Using your previous experience and destination knowledge to establish clients' requirements and recommend the correct programme for their needs.
  3. Creating and booking all aspects of travel for your customers including flights, private charters, hotels, tours, safaris, and more.
  4. Working with the product team and assisting in the development of their Middle East product portfolio.
Required Experience:
  1. Previous sales experience within the travel industry is essential.
  2. Exceptional product knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa region through sales and personal travel.
  3. Ability to develop rapport at all levels with clients.
  4. Proven track record in meeting sales targets whilst delivering high levels of customer service.
Salary and Benefits:
  1. Base Salary circa £35,000.
  2. Lucrative bonus scheme based on performance OTE £50,000.
  3. 23 days annual leave rising to 30 days for every one year of full service + bank holidays.
  4. Pension.
