Job Title: Travel Risk Manager

Location: Plymouth, UK (Office-Based)

Salary: £35-£40K

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time, Office based.

My client, an established UK-based security risk consultancy, is seeking a Travel Risk Manager to help deliver world-class travel safety solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients operating across high-risk and complex environments. With a strong reputation for protecting people, assets, and reputations worldwide, the organisation is committed to delivering proactive, technology-driven risk management in an ever-evolving global landscape.

This is a high-impact role for a skilled professional who can bridge operational delivery with strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of travel risk management services aligned with ISO 31030 standards
  • Be the go-to expert for global clients, managing key relationships and ensuring top-tier service delivery
  • Assess travel risks, coordinate emergency response efforts, and develop proactive safety strategies
  • Support crisis management operations and deliver real-time intelligence to leadership during critical events
  • Oversee technology platforms used to track travel risks and manage client onboarding
  • Conduct product demos, troubleshoot platform issues, and help drive technical innovation in the risk space

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years in travel risk, corporate security, or crisis response
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, International Relations, or related field
  • Deep knowledge of global travel threats and security best practices
  • Experience with risk intelligence and travel tracking platforms
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
  • Calm, clear-headed approach in high-pressure scenarios
