Job Summary
The ELC Advisor is responsible for providing an authentic and personalized service to our customers to achieve the sales targets within Travel Retail locations. They handle a range of brands in both Airport and Free-standing Store formats, depending on staffing needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge across brands, understanding brand stories and hero products to meet customer needs.
- Provide exceptional service and experience, engaging customers with conversational skills to fulfill shopping needs.
Sales and Service across ELC Brands in airport/downtown locations:
- Achieve retail sales targets set by the company.
- Maintain personal grooming standards as specified by ELC.
- Link sell within and between brands to increase Items Per Transaction and Basket Value.
- Stay updated on competitor activities and missed opportunities.
- Utilize Education Team strategies for product knowledge and skills.
- Deliver excellent service, continually improving service levels and creating a positive customer experience.
- Report sales daily and weekly to the Team Leader/SEE.
- Utilize digital education platforms and complete cross-branded training.
Work Effectively as Part of a Team
- Build strong relationships with team members, colleagues, managers, and retailers.
- Assist colleagues and adapt tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with management.
- Participate in training meetings and complete online learning modules.
- Collaborate with store personnel and management.
- Maintain high standards of timekeeping.
- Follow company policies, standards, and procedures.
Maintain Housekeeping Standards
- Regularly clean counters, tester stands, and displays to ensure hygiene standards.
- Merchandise fixtures and displays as directed.
Complete Administration
- Accurately complete all administrative tasks on time.
Qualifications
- Retail or guest services experience is desirable, preferably in beauty or luxury goods.
- Ability to provide authentic and personalized customer service.
- Sales and goal-oriented with the ability to meet company sales targets.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Experience with retail POS systems is a plus.
- Proof of right to work in the country is required if invited for an interview.
- Willingness to work across multiple brands.
- Experience in makeup artistry is a plus.
- Interest in interacting with diverse cultures is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
