Job summary

GVR Solutions is seeking a technically capable Quantity Surveyor for site-based work in Surrey. The role involves fast-paced, short-duration projects with travel nationwide when needed, plus some work from home or in the office when feasible.

You will handle procurement, cost control and commercial management across multiple schemes, including refurbishment and fit-out projects for leisure and hospitality sectors. Strong client liaison and independent working style are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven Quantity Surveyor experience in construction projects.
• Experience refurbishment or fit-out projects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of contracts, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects concurrently and manage budgets.
• Prepare valuations and final accounts with accuracy.
• Maintain strong client relationships and clear communication.
• Monitor cost control, risks and opportunities across sites.
• Travel to sites, including occasional overnight stays, as required.
