Location: Berkshire (Ofsted rated college)

Working Pattern: 4 days per week (flexible)

Pay Rate: Competitive (PAYE, plus 12.07% holiday pay)

Role Overview

As a Travel & Tourism Lecturer, you will:

  • Teach, assess, and monitor learners on Level 3 Travel & Tourism programmes
  • Ensure delivery aligns with awarding body standards and quality expectations
  • Plan robust curriculum, schemes of work, and engaging lessons
  • Provide feedback, track student progress, and support learner development
  • Contribute to curriculum improvement, quality assurance, and internal verification
  • Engage with employer partners to enrich the learner experience
  • Promote high expectations, professionalism, and a positive learning environment

This role is approximately 4 days per week; the exact pattern will be agreed in consultation with you and the college.

Person Specification

Essential

  • A relevant qualification in Travel & Tourism (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
  • Proven experience delivering Travel & Tourism at FE / post 16 / Level 3
  • Strong sector knowledge and awareness of industry trends
  • Excellent communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate learning and support learners of diverse backgrounds

Desirable

  • Assessor qualification
  • Internal quality assurance experience
