Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Assistant Psychologist (Band 4) to support the Major Trauma, Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery psychology team at LGI and St James' University Hospital. The role involves clinical work with adults and children, administration and scoring of tests, and data handling for research projects.

You will be supervised by a clinical psychologist and participate in department activities, meetings, and Special Interest Groups, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Undertake clinical work with patients (adults and children) in Major Trauma and related services.
• Administer and score a range of psychological tests.
• Assist with data collection, entry and analysis for research projects.
• Liaise with a variety of professionals and receive supervision by a clinical psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Undertake clinical work with patients under Major Trauma and related services.
• Administer and score psychological tests; assess participants in research studies.
• Contribute to data collection and analysis; assist in writing papers and proposals.
• Utilise Excel for data handling; perform literature searches and SPSS analyses.
