Job summary

The Nelson Trust in Bristol is seeking a compassionate Group Interventions Worker (Female Only) to join the Women’s Community Services. You will facilitate psychosocial group interventions and practical support for women affected by substance use and multiple disadvantage, using a trauma-informed approach.

• Deliver psychosocial group interventions and practical support for women affected by substance use and multiple disadvantage.
• Facilitate trauma-informed groups focused on recovery, wellbeing, safety, abuse awareness and personal development.
• Advocate for women and encourage engagement in recovery plans and activities that support positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychosocial group interventions and practical support for women affected by substance use and multiple disadvantage

• Deliver group interventions across Horizons partner locations throughout Bristol
• Carry out holistic needs assessments and support women to access appropriate services and opportunities
• Advocate for women and encourage engagement in recovery plans and activities that support positive outcomes
• Develop effective partnerships with housing, health, social care and criminal justice agencies
