Job summary

Simon Community Scotland is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for the Holyrood Hub in Edinburgh. You will help people affected by homelessness, addiction and trauma to secure safe housing while providing practical and emotional support, within a trauma-informed framework.

You will work with the Edinburgh Hub team, coordinating with local authorities and partner agencies to ensure holistic, person-centred care and empower service users toward independence and stability.

Qualifications

• SVQ 3 social care or willingness to work towards qualification.
• Experience providing support to people facing homelessness, mental health challenges or trauma.
• Ability to work within a trauma-informed approach and empower service users.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage personalised support plans.
• Provide practical and emotional support to help people secure housing and access benefits.
• Collaborate with partners to coordinate care and services for clients.
