Job summary

Empowering Learning, recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in Witham, Essex, is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join from September 2026. Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND/SEMH needs through one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Assist teachers with planning, classroom activities and monitoring pupil progress.
• Build positive relationships to promote wellbeing and resilience.
