Job summary

Academics in Bedford is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a specialist SEN setting. The role is temp to perm, starting in September, with a practical trial day available to experience the school environment.

You will work with pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours, joining a multi-disciplinary team in a trauma-informed, supportive school. Training and progression routes are offered to develop into therapeutic or senior roles.

Qualifications

• Supports pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Experience in SEMH, autism, and trauma-informed settings is advantageous.
• Willingness to participate in a trial day and progressive specialised pathways.
