Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to work across Therapeutic Services and Residential homes. You will train staff in trauma-informed practice and support carers and managers in understanding complex trauma.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to government standards. Based near Sutton Coldfield, the 12-month fixed-term contract requires strong communication, anti-discriminatory practice and a full driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' hands-on experience working with children in the Child in Care Sector.
• Proven ability to provide and enhance understanding of therapeutic concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Support staff teams in therapeutic practice within Care and Residential settings.
• Train staff in therapeutical ideologies and reflective groups.
• Contribute to SEW assessments and therapeutic development of young people.
