Job summary

Sgscare is seeking a committed Residential Support Worker for a Children’s Residential Home in Darlington (DL10). The role offers 37.5 hours per week, permanent employment, and a salary of £27,300 per annum, with an hourly rate of £14.00 where applicable.

The successful candidate will work shifts including evenings and weekends and hold a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. The home is rated Ofsted Outstanding and focuses on trauma-informed, child-centred care for children and

• NVQ Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (desirable).
• GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Work a varied shift pattern including evenings and weekends.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of service users.
• Collaborate with the team to provide consistent care.
