Job summary

Prospect Place, Birch Hill Hospital in Rochdale is recruiting Nursing Associates for our Low Secure Service (LSU). We have 1 full-time and 1 part-time (25 hours) position offering varied shifts.

You will work within a trauma-informed framework to deliver compassionate, safe, and high-quality care in a supportive MDT environment. The role focuses on assessment, recording, and patient welfare, with emphasis on the RAID and Safe Ward models to reduce risk and support recovery.

Qualifications

• Essential: Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register with a Foundation Degree
• Essential: GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths and English Language OR equivalent
• Essential: Understanding of NMC Code and professionalism at work

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Monitor patient conditions and escalate appropriately to a registered nurse
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with Trust policy
• Support trauma-informed care and promote patient wellbeing
• Demonstrate compassionate care and effective communication with patients and families
• Administer medicines and participate in routine nursing duties as required
