Job summary

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) to deliver brief, trauma‑informed interventions for adults with Complex PTSD and complex emotional needs, bridging primary and secondary care.

You will co‑facilitate psychoeducational groups, work with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to service development while maintaining accurate clinical records.

Qualifications

• Qualification from MHWP Training Course or Registration.
• Experience with adults in mental health settings.
• Understanding of Complex PTSD / complex emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver brief, well-being focused interventions for CPTSD and related needs.
• Co-facilitate trauma-informed psychoeducational groups with MDT.
• Contribute to assessments and personalised treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in CPD.
• Support service development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
