Job summary

Compass Community Schools seeks a Headteacher to lead a nurturing, close-knit staff and deliver a holistic curriculum focused on pupils’ needs. You’ll coordinate teaching, manage staff, and provide authentic leadership to inspire and drive change within the school, with teaching comprising 0.4 of the timetable.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have SEMH/SEND experience, and be able to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level while delivering vocational provisions.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience with SEMH & SEND and crisis management
• Ability to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level
• Experience designing engaging, creative curricula and leading teams

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a holistic curriculum centered on pupil needs
• Coordinate staff, lead authentic school leadership and drive change
