Job summary

Juno Women’s Aid in Nottingham is seeking a committed Family Support and Safeguarding Worker to provide trauma-informed, needs-led support to women and children affected by domestic abuse. You will collaborate with Children’s Social Care and Child Protection Teams to help families recover and access services.

The role involves delivering specialist interventions, developing tailored support plans, and coordinating access to community resources to improve health, education, and wellbeing outcomes

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed approach required.
• Experience safeguarding women and children.
• Ability to work with multi-agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist support to women and children subject to Child Protection Plans.
• Work with Social Workers within Child Protection Teams to address domestic abuse concerns.
• Develop and implement individual and family support plans.
