Fair Ways is expanding its family centre services and seeks a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to provide high-quality care to children and families during night shifts. You will work as part of a small team, ensuring safety, stability and trauma-informed support throughout a 12-week stabilization window for families referred to Hazel House.

The role requires a full driving licence, access to a car, and a clear DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality support to families and children (Waking Night focus).
• Strong record-keeping, observation and reflective analysis of parenting capacity.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high standards of care and support during waking nights.
• Model trauma-informed responses and promote a safe, homely environment.
• Safeguard and manage risk through assessment and liaison with management and professionals.
• Manage medicines in accordance with legal and organisational policies.
• Plan and handover waking night shifts with colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
• Support families through care plans, meetings and relevant communications.
• Undertake lone-working elements with appropriate supervision.
• Engage in statutory training modules and ongoing professional development.
