Job summary

Victim Support in the UK is seeking a Family Caseworker (22.5 hours per week) to support service users across Northamptonshire and North Bedfordshire. The role is home-based with regional travel and occasional travel outside the defined areas.

You will join a dedicated Homicide Team delivering trauma‑informed advocacy with a focus on compassionate care. The post requires resilience, strong listening and communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a multi‑agency framework.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services within statutory, voluntary or multi‑agency settings.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
• Ability to travel across the specified region and occasional travel outside it.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma‑informed advocacy and bespoke support to service users.
• Work with a focus on customer service and care.
• Attend mandatory training and development programmes.
• Travel within Northamptonshire and North Bedfordshire as required.
