Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is seeking a Children’s Support Worker to provide safe, trauma-informed care for children and young people in local authority care. You will help create routines, support education and life skills, and assist with meals and daily health habits.

Role involves attending appointments, community activities, and potential transport using your own vehicle, with opportunities for progression within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people (voluntary or paid).
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Emotional resilience, empathy and patience.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply).
• A Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care is desirable but not essential.
