Job summary

Guardian Jobs is seeking a Registered Manager for an Ofsted-regulated Children’s Home in Hampshire. You’ll lead daily operations, ensure safety, and uphold a trauma-informed Pillars of Parenting model to support children aged 10–17 who have experienced emotional trauma.

You will manage a dedicated team, work with a Deputy Manager and multi‑agency professionals, and oversee staffing, budgets and compliance. The role requires Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare and meet Ofsted registration requirements.
• Extensive management experience in residential care for vulnerable children with a track record of service improvement.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home and ensure it delivers continuous improvement.
• Drive quality and compliance, acting as the Responsible Person under relevant legislation.
• Champion child-centred practice and advocate for children’s needs within care plans.
