SWAAY is seeking a compassionate Children's Home Deputy Manager to join the 4-bed home in Bracknell. You will support the Registered Manager to deliver outstanding care, ensuring a safe, stable and nurturing environment for young people who have experienced trauma.

We promote trauma-informed practice and a child-centred approach; the role includes leadership duties, shift oversight and regulatory reporting to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent e.g. Social Work Degree)
• Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma (or willingness to work towards)
• Previous experience working with children and young people in residential settings
• Experience in a senior role/deputy position with managerial responsibilities
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
• Compassion, resilience and the ability to act as a positive role model to both the young people and staff team
