Job summary

Keys is recruiting a Therapist in Peterborough to support children and young people in residential services. You will deliver direct and indirect therapeutic support, embedding trauma‑informed, child‑centred practices with care teams across the region.

The role requires a Masters in Art Therapy, HCPC/UKCP/BACP registration, and a full UK driving licence. The position is hybrid with travel within your region and 37.5 hours per week. DBS checks apply and Equality opportunities are championed.

Qualifications

• Essential: Masters in Art Therapy or equivalent accredited therapeutic qualification.
• Essential: Professional registration with HCPC, UKCP or BACP.
• Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Desirable: 1+ year post-qualification experience.
• Desirable: Experience with care-experienced children and multi-agency working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions for young people and provide regional guidance to teams.
• Apply the Keys Connect clinical model to assess, formulate, and deliver evidence‑based plans.
• Offer therapeutic insight to support operational decisions and collaborate with psychologists and therapists across the region.
• Deliver training on trauma, attachment, recovery, and related subjects within professional scope.
• Contribute to service planning, meetings, and improvement projects and maintain safeguarding and recording standards.
