A healthcare provider in Exeter is looking for a Trauma and Wellbeing Practitioner to support adults affected by sexual harm. The role involves delivering structured interventions and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and innovative skills, with training provided. This is a part-time, fixed-term position, working three days a week from 9 to 5.
Role Summary
Trauma and Wellbeing Practitioners work within the SARC Trauma Resilience Hub. You will collaborate with our Clinical Psychologist and Specialist Social Worker to support adults who have experienced sexual harm. The role involves providing structured trauma stabilisation interventions and coordinating care plans for adults with severe trauma-related mental health needs.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trauma Resilience Hub Team at Devon and Cornwall Sexual Assault Referral Centre. The hub supports adults with sexual harm and complex mental health needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including a Clinical Psychologist, Specialist Social Worker, Safeguarding Nurse, and Forensic Clinicians.
You will deliver structured trauma stabilisation interventions and support patients' recovery, facilitating access to additional services as needed. We seek a passionate, resilient individual with problem-solving skills and innovative thinking who is committed to making a difference for those affected by sexual assault. Training will be provided.
Working Pattern: 3 days a week, Monday-Friday 9-5

This is a fixed-term contract for several months. NHS employees may consider it as a secondment opportunity.
