Job description

Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Trauma and Orthopaedic Department

Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Permanent post.

We are seeking a motivated healthcare professional to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the trauma and orthopaedic department at the Royal Bolton Hospital. The successful candidate will work alongside a well-established and highly skilled team, including an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Orthogeriatric team, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with a salary at Band 8a. Please note that non-medical prescribing is a requirement for this role.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in an acute and/or surgical setting, with some knowledge or experience in orthopaedics and frailty. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop, be self-motivated, and have a desire to enhance patient care through advanced clinical skills, leadership, education, and research.

The successful applicant will receive clinical supervision from an allocated Orthogeriatrician and ACP, with access to ongoing professional development across all four domains of advanced practice.
